The science of yoga is 4000 years old and contains many little known techniques that go
well beyond physical exercise to help us rejuvenate and maintain a vibrant body, mind and
spirit.
In this series we will learn the 6 basic movements of the spine that enhance the flow of
energy; practice cleansing breathing techniques that clear blockages and increase our life
force; and experience yoga nidra and zero point that dissolve the major stressors draining
our vitality. All levels of fitness are welcome.

The Anti-Aging Raw Diet.
Studies done on centenarians around the world show that the single most
important factor common to all is not about smoking, exercising, drinking or
even genetics, but comes down to low insulin level. Insulin regulates the
rate of aging! 35-40% of Americans are insulin resistant. 20% of Americans
and 1 out of 3 children are pre-diabetic or diabetic today. In this workshop,
attendees will learn about the 6 sugar traps and how to prepare delicious
foods that keep the insulin production low; support longevity; facilitate
weight loss and enhance overall vitality. We will provide delicious low sugar
recipes and demonstrations including snacks and desserts…

The chakras or energy centers along the spine gather and distribute the energy to all

Friday Oct. 23rd, 6:30-8:30pm - Raw Food Workshop: Where To Get High
Quality Plant Based Proteins For Strength, Immunity and Well Being.
From red blood cells to skin supporting collagen, from enzymes to hormones, proteins
are essential for most cell functions in the body. Both the proportion (neither too
much nor too little) and the quality of the proteins we get in our diet influence the
way our bodies function, age and resist to disease. In this workshop, attendees will
learn about the 9 top risks of eating exclusively animal proteins and discover 6
practical ways to augment the proportion of plant based proteins in their diet and
increase their longevity and vitality. We will provide delicious power bars and energy

Yoga of Energy is a gentle and complete yoga which includes postures, breathing,
concentration and meditation techniques. It emphasizes perception of the energy
body and movements of inner consciousness during practices: “Where
consciousness goes, energy goes.” During this workshop, we will:
  •    Explore the basic principles and major circuits of the circulation of energy in
    the body
  •    Learn to move our inner consciousness along these circuits during postures
  •    Work with the masculine and feminine energy polarities through breathing
    and visualizations
  •    Practice the witness and present moment awareness through concentration
    techniques

Dr. Anne-Marie Derouault (Bharti) trained for 4 years with the founder of the
Academy of Yoga of Energy in Paris, France.

Thursday June 18th, 6:30-8:30pm - Raw Food Workshop: Create fun, varied
and balanced raw recipes!

Do you love pizza, or mexican chili? Indian pudding or Thai pie? Would you like to
reproduce a family recipe in a healthier, lighter and alive version?
Knowing how to combine foods and herbs to obtain balanced delicious raw dishes
brings a great variety to the living food lifestyle.

In this workshop, you will discover the vegetables, seeds and herbs that work
together to deliver a satisfying meal. Variety supports an easy and balanced transition
to more live foods. We will provide demonstrations of tasty recipes including entrees
and desserts. Celebrate the balance of feeding the physical, emotional and spiritual
aspects of ourselves!

Sat. May 9th, 1-5pm: Anti Stress Yoga Workshop: Take a break!
Liberate yourself from physical tensions, negative emotions and mind clutter.

While  positive stress challenges and stimulates us for better performance, negative stress
and pressure accumulated for too long threaten our capacities to perform and to be happy.
60-90% of health related consultations are directly or indirectly influenced by stress levels.
In this workshop we will practice timeless techniques from many branches of yoga. Some
well known like physical postures to relieve physical tensions, some less known like jnana
yoga (yoga of knowledge) for detoxifying the mind; yoga nidra to activate the relaxation
response; chakra work to recharge the  energy centers; and raja yoga (concentration and
meditation) to put us back in touch with our true nature.

Fee: $35 before April 17th, $40 after. Central Merritt Island. All levels welcome.
